iPhone 5 will have same dual-core A5 chip as iPad 2

Programmers immersed into the iOS 4.3 firmware Apple has released ahead of its iPad 2 launch Friday and found hints that the iPhone 5 will play the same dual-core A5 central processing unit as the new Apple tablet computer.

Such a move by Apple would certainly be consistent with the development of the iPhone and iPad lines up until now.

A exam of iOS 4.3 and related iPhone kernel code by Chronic Dev group and Filippo Bigarella revealed mentions to S5L8940, referred to as the A5 processor, associated with a new edition of the iPhone, according to various Apple following blogs.
